Non-woven Laid scrims Introduction
This product is a Laid Scrim (glass, polyester, carbon, or hybrid) engineered as a reinforcement substrate for automotive rear shelf (parcel shelf) composites — the load-bearing panel behind the rear seat in sedans / hatchbacks that supports audio components, parcel loads, and NVH damping layers. It is manufactured by chemically bonding continuous filament yarns (Glass, Polyester, Carbon, Cotton, Flax, Jute, Viscose, Kevlar, Nomex, etc.) into a flat-laid open mesh (square or tri-directional), then laminated into or between the non-woven / GMT / PP-stack that forms the shelf core. Thanks to lightweight, high strength, low shrinkage / low elongation, and corrosion resistance, the scrim upgrades a limp or brittle substrate into a dimensionally stable, bend-resistant composite that survives press-forming, trimming, and in-car vibration/thermal cycles.

Lamination-Grade Property Profile: Depending on yarn choice, the scrim delivers high strength, dimensional stability, low shrinkage, low elongation, corrosion resistance, and (for glass) alkali resistance & fire resistance, or (for polyester) heat sealability, anti-microbial properties, water resistance, eco-friendliness — a flexible property menu that lets converters pick the right scrim for foil, PVC, non-woven, paper, or technical textile laminating lines.
Long Rolls & Process Compatibility: Roll width 200–2,500 mm; each roll length can be 10,000 meters, which helps manufacturers improve production efficiency and gives finished products better appearance. Fewer splices per shift on high-speed laminating, coating, and slitting lines, fewer weak spots in finished rolls.

The regular supply of non-woven reinforcement and laminated scrim is 12.5x12.5mm,10x10mm,6.25x6.25mm, 5x5mm,12.5x6.25mm etc. The regular supply grams are 6.5g, 8g, 13g, 15.5g, etc.With high strength and light weight, it can be fully bonded with almost any material and each roll length can be 10,000 meters.

Primary Use: Reinforcement for Automotive Rear Shelf (Parcel Shelf) Composites
The core application of this automotive-grade laid scrim is as the hidden tensile grid laminated into or between the non-woven / GMT / PP stack that forms the rear parcel shelf — and by extension the same scrim platform also serves headliners, door-linings, seat-back trims, undershields, outer wheel-arch liners, foams punched parts, and engine casing / sound-deadening within the same Automotive category. Add Bend & Fastener-Zone Strength Without Bulking
Rear shelves see point loads (speaker magnets, parcel weight) and repeated deck-lid slam. The scrim adds multi-directional tensile and tear resistance at very low GSM, reinforcing the sandwich without thickening the panel or adding molded-in stress risers around clip/screw bosses.
Maintain Dimensional Stability Through Press & In-Car Cycles
The scrim's low elongation keeps the shelf / headliner / door-liner flat through press-forming, trimming, and cabin thermal cycles (-40 °C to >100 °C under-hood adjacent zones, cabin NVH vibration), preserving gap lines and trim fit.

a)Aluminum Foil Composite
Nove-woven laid scrim is widely applied in aluminium foil industry. It can help manufacture to develop the production efficiency as the roll length can reach 10000m. It also makes the finished product with better apperance.
b) PVC Flooring
PVC Flooring is mainly made of PVC,also other necessary chemical material during manufacture. It is produced by calendering,extrusion progress or other manufacture progress, it is devided into PVC Sheet Floor and PVC Roller Floor. Now all major domestic and foreign manufactures are applying it as the reinforcement layer to avoiding the joint or bulge between pieces, which is caused by the heat expansion and contraction of materials.
c) None-woven category products reinforced
None-woven laid scrim is widely used as reinforced materail on kinds none-woven fabric, such as fiberglass tissue, polyester mat, wipes, also some top ends, such as medical paper. It can makes none-woven products with higher tensile strength,while just add very little unit weight.
d) PVC Tarpaulin
