This product is a Polyester Laid Scrim, a cost-effective, high-performance reinforcement fabric engineered specifically for medical scrim absorbent towels — the thicker, more durable cousin of medical wipes and tissue used in surgical settings, patient care, and clinical wiping. It is manufactured by chemically bonding continuous polyester filament yarns into an open mesh construction (square or tri-directional), with binder options (PVOH, PVC, Acrylic, or customized) to match different non-woven laminating, thermal bonding, or calendaring processes. Compared with glass-fiber scrims, the polyester version offers softer hand-feel, heat sealability, and better compatibility with spunlace / airlaid / PP non-woven stacks — critical when the absorbent towel must pull fluid aggressively, survive repeated wiping or gloved handling, and still be convertible into folded bibs, drape towels, or sterile-pack components.
