Polyester Laid Scrims Brief Introduction
This product is a Polyester Laid Scrim, a cost-effective, high-performance reinforcement fabric engineered specifically for medical blood-absorbing paper tissue and medical-grade absorbent papers supplied to Middle East markets. It is manufactured by chemically bonding continuous polyester filament yarns into an open mesh construction (square or tri-directional), with optional binder systems (PVOH, PVC, Acrylic, or customized — including hot-melt for medical paper lamination). Compared with glass-fiber scrims, the polyester version offers softer hand-feel, heat sealability, anti-microbial properties, water resistance, and recyclability — a profile purpose-built for disposable medical consumables where the substrate must absorb fluid, resist tearing under gloved handling, and remain compatible with sealing or converting equipment. The scrim is laminated into or behind the medical paper tissue to become a hidden "tensile skeleton" that prevents the pad from falling apart when saturated with blood or exudate. The product is highly customizable, with roll widths from 200 to 2500 mm and roll lengths up to 50,000 meters, supporting high-speed medical paper/non-woven converting lines.

Regular medical/non-woven grades on this platform include CF12.5×12.5PH (~6.2–6.6 g/m²), CF10×10PH (~8–9 g/m²), CF6.25×6.25PH (~12–13.2 g/m²), CF5×5PH (~15.2 g/m²), with 12.5×6.25mm also available for adjusted openness. The high strength-to-weight ratio lets blood-absorbing tissue stay thin, flexible, and conformable while gaining meaningful tear resistance.
Process Compatibility for Medical Converting: Available in yarn types beyond polyester (Glass, Carbon, Kevlar, Nomex, Cotton, Flax, Jute, Viscose, etc.), constructions (square / tri-directional), patterns (0.8–3 yarns/cm), and bonding agents (PVOH, PVC, Acrylic, customized including hot-melt).

Prevent Disintegration When Saturated
Blood-absorbing tissue must pull fluid while staying intact under gloved handling, folding, or placement. The scrim arrests tear propagation so the pad does not lint, split, or fall apart when saturated — critical for OR and emergency settings.

The open mesh adds multi-directional tensile with minimal mass, so the tissue remains flexible and conformable to body contours or instrument trays, rather than turning stiff like a woven insert would.
